All youth should have the right to define and achieve their own success with the support of their families and communities; parents must also be aided and encouraged to help guide their child’s ambitions since they play a crucial role in their development.
Inspire Aspire Youth Program aims to empower the youth to obtain a post-secondary education. By helping teenagers understand the opportunities available to them and overcome the hurdles they may face as first-generation Americans or even as non-native speakers, Inspire Aspire Youth Program hopes to help them define and achieve their own dreams, for which their parents have often greatly sacrificed. The program seeks to instill in parents the confidence, skills and understanding necessary to guide their teenagers to a successful life. We further aim to deepen the bonds between the teenagers we serve and their community, especially the local immigrant community, in order to foster a stronger sense of identity and create a strong future network of bilingual professionals able to support the next generation of immigrant arrivals in their transition and integration into American culture and society.
